Introduction
Introduction Laundry App Collector organized the laundry’s internal operation, tracking orders and individual garments from intake through delivery or pickup. Each movement updated the order status and kept the operation connected to the customer experience.
THE CONTEXT
An industrial laundry moves hundreds of garments through different stages, people and departments. Each item has its own washing requirements, may need specific treatments and must remain connected to the correct order throughout the entire process.
THE CHALLENGE
The challenge was to create control without turning the system into an obstacle for the operation. The team needed to know where every garment was, record damage, respect different washing processes and keep orders and balances updated without slowing down each department’s routine.
CONNECTED OPERATION
Each department had its own access and registered the order as it moved through the corresponding stage. These checkpoints updated the operational status and allowed customers to follow the service progress through the app.
